Early Life and Background
Abhimanyu Dasani was born to veteran actress Bhagyashree and entrepreneur Himalaya Dasani in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
He has a younger sister named Avantika Dasani. He did his schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He then got his major in Finance from Mithibai College in Mumbai.
After that, he enrolled in an acting course at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in California, USA.
He also studied an acting course in Anupam Kher’s Institute. He belongs to a Hindu family and his maternal grandfather Vijay Singhrao Madhavrao Patwardhan is a descendant of Maharaja of Sangli. He is currently not dating anyone and is focused only on improving his acting skills.

Career
After completion of his acting course from Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute he started his career as an assistant director by assisting Rohan Sippy for a number of films such as Dum Maaro Dum and Nautanki Saala.
He made his debut in 2018 with the Bollywood film of Ronnie Screwvala’s, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota in the lead role opposite famous Debutante actress Radhika Madan and Gulshan Devaiah. The film was directed by Vasan Bala.
The film was critically acclaimed, and he was also praised for his acting, but the film failed to be a hit in the box office. The film also won the People’s Choice Award at the Toronto Film Festival. His next film project is Nikamma opposite of singer Shirley Sethia and is scheduled to be released in 2020. It is directed by Sabbir Khan.
