Rajeev Hanu (born on 25th July 1987) is a South-Indian film actor and a CCL cricket player. He is best known for playing in various seasons of Celebrity Cricket League for the Karnataka Bulldozers team. He has appeared in more than five South Indian films including films like Amavase, RX Soori, etc. Rajeev is also a contestant in the latest season of the popular reality TV show, Bigg Boss Kannada.

Early life and Background
Rajeev Hanu was born and brought up in Bangalore, Karnataka, India in a middle-class family to his father, Hanumanthaiah Anu, and his mother, Anu Amma. He follows Hinduism and holds Indian nationality by birth. He has one brother named Sandeep Hanu. His father, Hanumanthaiah, is a retired policeman. Rajeev went to Christ English School and Sri RHS High School in Bangalore for his schooling. After completing his schooling he joined BHS First Grade College and Rani Sarala Devi Institute for further studies. As a kid, he participated in a lot of sports competitions and was also selected as the captain of his school’s sports team.
Personal life
Rajeev Hanu got engaged in the month of November in 2018 to Reshma Riddhima, who is a fashion designer by profession. A few months later on 15th February 2019, the couple finally tied the knot and got married. The couple shares a healthy relationship and is enjoying their married lives together. They haven’t got any kids as of now but it is speculated that they are planning for the same.

Career
Rajeev made his debut in the South-Indian film industry with the movie Snehana Preetena in the year 2007. He has appeared in more than five movies until now, some of which include movies like Zindagi, RX Soori, Amavase, etc. He has also been a part of the popular Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). He plays for the Karnataka Bulldozers team which is headed by famous South-Indian actor Sandeep. Rajeev has made several records in the league, he once scored 100 runs off 30 balls. He has also participated in the Kannada version of the popular reality Television show Bigg Boss Kannada Season 8, hosted by Sandeep.
